From fluorescent lighting to full-spectrum daylight at De Merelhof in Hardenberg
At De Merelhof dental practice in Hardenberg, the old U-shaped luminaires with fluorescent tubes were replaced with DentLED DL60 full-spectrum daylight LED panels in several treatment rooms.
One room has a ceiling height of more than four metres. Additional panels were installed there to provide sufficient light at the headrest. In the rooms with standard ceiling heights, the usual number of panels was sufficient. The lighting plan for each room was designed to provide approximately 2,000 lux at the headrest.
The DL60 panels combine bright light with high colour rendering, helping dental professionals assess subtle colour differences during clinical work. Low glare and flicker-free light contribute to a comfortable working environment.
The team has also noticed a difference: staff report that the new LED panels make the treatment rooms feel more spacious.
